If you got lost.
Although nobody really knows what color atoms are, using our imagination we were able to color them appropriately. If you got lost in your imagination of the picture, don't worry, - you are beside your PC in real space, and you are at the same place with respect to the picture of the real lattice at the bottom of your screen. As for the pictures at the top of your screen, the key is that you are always "looking" along the pink lines so that the pink arrows are at the rear side. Proper orientation in the reciprocal lattice is very easy to figure out ( provided you know the definition of the reciprocal lattice ).
