Tutorial Hours and Location:
Thursday, 14:30 - 17:20, MACN 305.

Required Materials:
Textbook: "Chemistry: Science of Change", 3rd Edition, Oxtoby, Freeman, and Block, Saunders College Publishing (1998). This text will be used again next semester in the course IPS*1200 "Principles of Modern Chemistry".

Textbook: "University Physics", 9th Edition, Young and Freedman, Addison-Wesley (1998). This text will be used again next semester in the course IPS*1220 "Mechanics, Electricity, and Magnetism".

Computer Account on CPES Microlab network: Some of the quizzes will involve exercies using the MAPLE algebraic software package. To do these, you will need an account on the CPES Microlab Network. To obtain this, go to the Microlab (MACN 306-8) and to the computer on the counter beside the laser printer. Follow the instructions given to request an account. This account will also be applicable for IPS*1110.
