Following eight of the Thursday tutorial sessions, a quiz will be posted here. It must be completed by the following Thursday morning at 9:00 on the date specified. You can complete the quiz anytime during the week. We hope that most of you will complete and the submit the quiz over the web. However, if you choose, you may print it out, answer it on the page and hand it in to either of our offices following the same deadline. You may also write the answers into an email message and send it to either of us. Be careful that you observe the same deadline and that you clearly indicate which answer goes with which question. You are expected to work alone in answering the questions on each quiz, but you are invited to use your lecture notes and textbook in completing it. Each quiz is worth 2.5% towards your final mark. The important activity here is to do the work. These quizzes will be extremely valuable in preparing you for the mid-term and final examination. This is their principal purpose. The mark value is assigned in hope of encouraging you to do them weekly. The answers will be posted Thursday after the submission deadline and you will be able to review each quiz anytime afterwards. If you still have questions after having reviewed the answers, don't hesitate to contact either of us for further explanations.
