Apparently the most expensive railway (per mile) ever built, this railway, running through and across the interior mountains of British Columbia, Has been abandoned for many years now, with most of the rails removed. It is a magnificent way to see the back-country ruggedness of the interior of B.C. Chris and Natalie cycled part of the "KVR" in 1995, with a few photos taken along the way.

"Is this bridge strong enough to hold the both of us" Chris and Natalie on the KVR, near Midway, B.C.

Chris saying prayers before crossing the first of 20 trestles (and two tunnels) of the Myra Canyon, KVR, above Kelowna, B.C. Note: this trestle has railings-these were added (1994) before there were just drops of 100-200 feet!

" Don't jump Chris! " -on the KVR above the lake Okanagan, B.C.
