Current project:

My research focuses on the study of the colicin E1 ion channel and mapping the membrane topology by cysteine-scanning mutagenesis. I will use depth-dependent fluorescence quenching as well as steady state and time-resolved fluorescence methods to determine the membrane topology of the colicin ion channel.
